The king and his citizens’ pleas

I got up earlier than usual this morning. Instead of my mind being blank, empty and fresh it was preoccupied with a truck load of thoughts. It was more of a baggage on my back, slowing me down. Nothing constructive for sure but it had to be dealt with, constructively.
I sat down in silence, gave my thoughts an audience and a conscious ear. Each of them had a complaint that they wish to be done with asap.
Thought 1 said that he’s been stuck for so long and wishes to move ahead.
Thought 2 was concerned that he wasn’t seeing a light of the day.
Thought 3 was scared of his own stories that he’s created for his future.
Thought 4 had problems with food and another had with the current circumstances and situation.
Like a just king I listened to their amusing cries. Smiled at how small an issue can create so much of worries and eventually become a baggage.
I took each of these thoughts and painted them on a blank canvas. This signified ‘now’. Correspondingly, I painted a beautiful future for each thought. Each getting what he wanted.
My citizens are happy and so is their king as they’ve just become constructive and more responsible for their own future as I’ve told them that to get what your future holds, as seen in the painting, you’ll need to make an effort.

  1. Being stuck n wishes to move on??? future is built on wat u want…think n feel…wat is it…mistakes r made n r corrected…u only say na shit happens…it happened…but love dint fade away…it cudnt….realizations were there, maybe for the better…maybe coz it had to be beautiful after a little suffering..maybe coz without any suffering we wudnt have ever valued it…maybe we wudnt have made it more beautiful!!! think….
